John D. Miller Jr.
John is a native of
John's business and real estate practice includes representation of small and medium-sized businesses, family farms and real estate developers in all types of matters. He is a licensed title insurance agent and has extensive experience drafting and negotiating real estate documents and securing financing for real estate acquisitions. John has counseled clients on the acquisition and development, including through tax-free like-kind exchanges, of numerous agricultural, industrial and residential properties. He has also represented clients securing various types of financing, including lines of credit, mortgages, asset-backed financings and revolving credit facilities. In addition, John has litigated a variety of complex real estate and commercial claims before State and Federal courts.
John also advises clients on business formation, estate planning and wealth transfer. He has counseled clients through all stages of business, from initial choice of entity to capitalization to planning for business succession. He possesses a unique capability to effectively guide individual clients throughout their lifetimes with an eye on planning for the future. John also has specialized knowledge through years of practice in multi-generational estate planning for agribusinesses.
